Salience is an on-device sample generator and editor you can train on your sounds. Describe a sound and it makes a new sample right on your machine, then hands you an editor to shape it until it sits right. Make as many sounds as you like, with no credits and no subscription required.
Salience is Latent Sea's first plugin. It's built on Stable Audio's on-device sound model, and runs on Mac and Windows as a standalone app or VST3 plugin.

Jordan Hindo founded Latent Sea in early 2026. He built the plugins he'd always wanted to use himself, combining years of making his own music with what he's learned building software. He has made music of all kinds, from singer-songwriter to rap to experimental bass music to live-looped music as an experimental act. Salience is Latent Sea's first plugin for producers.

Use the Salience sail mark or wordmark as supplied. No recoloring, redrawing, stretching, cropping, or extra effects. Keep the aspect ratio and give it some clear space around it. Use the SVGs for scalable artwork, the PNGs when you need a ready-made raster file.
The sail mark is pure vector. The wordmark SVG has one embedded raster image inside it, so it's not purely vector. No font files are included or licensed for redistribution.
